Community
Employees are the foundation of any company. They’re integral to the company’s culture, bottom line, and the growth of their business and brand. Employees perform best individually and as part of a team when they feel their company support both their professional and personal goals. Successful companies around the world are supporting their staff and community through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
CSR is much more than wellness programs for company employees, instead it’s ‘businesses positively contributing to the wellbeing of the community, the environment and the stakeholders for which it operates. In this way it refers to the continuing commitment business has in building meaningful relationships between the corporate sector and rest of society’ as explained by the people at the Corporate Responsibility Index.
Through online fundraising during the challenge, bite4life provides a platform for employees, friends and family to work together to give back to their respective charities and the community at large. Leading companies today already donate to their selected charity and promote eco friendly products and procedures in the workplace can now improve their staffs wellbeing through these programs.
The bite4life program provides a one stop shop allowing employees to improve their health and fitness, and companies to promote team work and healthy competition across the business. All this is achieved while raising money for charity and giving back to the community and by actively promoting corporate social responsibility in the workplace.
