Connecting Fitness and fundraising
bite4life Charity Challenges are organised training groups in Sydney providing first time and experienced runners professional coaching in a fun and social environment. The training programs in 2010 include the City to Surf, Blackmores half marathon and bridge run. In return, individuals fundraise for their selected charity with all money going to charity.
Who are bite4life charity challenges for?
bite4life charity challenge’s are for individuals participating in Sydney fun runs. The training caters for first time runners through to seasoned runners and provides fun, supportive and social training environment.
What do runners get?
• Online nutrition & training programs
• 16 x fun group training sessions
• Nutrition & fitness information
• Training top
• Fun & social get togethers
• Opportunity to fundraise for their charity
What are the runner’s requirements?
In return for the professional coaching, we ask runners to raise $1000 for their selected charity. The first $500 is due in week 5 and the balance is preferred in week 8, but you have up to 3 months to raise the funds. Individuals are supported throughout the program making it easy to reach their fundraising target.
How much does it cost runners?
There is a one off $100 joining fee which covers the runners’ online training, nutritional support and educational seminars. Runners will be signing up and covering the cost of entering their event.
What if runners can't raise the money?
If the individual is unable to raise the $500 by week 5, the amount is deducted off their credit card. We would of course discuss this with you first. This situation rarely occurs because people raise their money! If the individual decides to quit the program, they incur a $100 cancellation fee. In the event of cancellation the charity is compensated the $100 if the individual has not already raised it.
